THE FIRE RIPPING THROUGH THE HISTORY OF SOUTH AFRICA

During the burning of the UCT Jagger library more than 1,300 books and journal collections together with 85,000 books were destroyed forever.

The force of nature quickly burned a piece of the history and culture of Cape Town and all of South Africa, including important documents from the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Since this event has recently occurred, at the moment there are not enough academic papers available, we preliminary provide other publications that will help you to deepen this subject. We hope to be able to enrich the section in the future.
